Colfax Youth Soccer Club announces registration for the 2009 Soccer Season!  Volunteer coaches, board members, and field preparation always welcome. Players must be 4 years old by July 31st 2009 and under 14 by July 31st 2009. For more information call the CYSC Hotline at (530) 470-7804 or email the Registrar.

Soccer Registration Dates:
Registration will be held at the following locations:

Colfax Elementary School:
          April 17th  10:00am - 1:00pm          Saturday  **Early registration $5 off fee! **
          May  1st    10:00am - 1:00pm          Saturday
          May  15th  10:00am - 1:00pm          Saturday
          June 12th  10:00am - 1:00pm          Saturday  ** Late registration $15 added to fee **

Note:
Only completed registrations will be accepted (see Registration Requirements, below). Completed registrations are date stamped on arrival to the registrar. Teams are filled on a first come, first serve basis.

Registration Requirements (what to bring with you)

1. Current (within last year), non returnable, wallet sized color photo (cut to 1" by 1", name on back).

2. $85.00 Registration fee. ($5 discount for early registration and $15 late fee added for late registration)

3. $35.00 uniform cost (if needed).

4. Parent/guardian signature on registration paperwork (both places)

5. Contact information in case of emergency (not parent or guardian).

6. Doctor / medical contact name and phone number.

7. If your child is playing soccer for the first time with CYSC, you must bring a non-returnable copy of their birth certificate.  Hospital or baptismal copies are NOT acceptable.

Uniforms
Uniforms can be purchased at registration. We will have samples available to try on in each of the sizes. Not sure what to do with your old uniforms? Bring them to registration and donate them. We will store them and when asked for assistance, provide those uniforms to families in need of help.

Team Requests
CYSC makes it a priority to place a player with the same coach (team) as the previous year, if so requested.  Please be aware that coaches sometimes change age groups and not all players will be eligible to return to the same coach. Every attempt will be made to accommodate player requests, but there is no guarantee of being placed on a particular team.  The date of your registration may be used to help decide team placement, so register as early as possible. You should hear from a coach in the beginning of August.

NOTE: It is possible to play up in an older age group (except U6), but you will not be placed on a team unless all players at that age group have already been placed on a team (coaches permission also required).  Playing down is prohibited. Under 19 teams are not available with Colfax Youth Soccer.  If you need information on this age group, contact 49er United Soccer Club
